Fundamentals of Insight Meditation Series
Insight meditation represents a unique system of understanding our experience. It enables us to live a happier and more wholesome life. It is not a belief system; we are encouraged to accept only what we can verify through our own personal experience. In this series, we will explore the profound benefits this system of understanding offers.
This six-session series is appropriate for those new to the practice, those who have an established practice but have not participated in a fundamentals series, and those who have been practicing for some time but would like a refresher. Topics will include basic meditation techniques, developing mindfulness and concentration, the arising of insight, cultivating wholesome mind states, maintaining balance, and working with hindrances to practice. There will be an emphasis on integrating our practice with our daily lives to produce practical benefits.
The in-person sessions will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 on six consecutive Tuesday evenings beginning on September 15, 2026.
Fee: $60 Students may receive half off the fee. Bring Student ID on day of event. Enter Discount Code: STUDENT
