We will be discussing selected chapters from a newly released book entitled
Seeing with the Eye of Dhamma:
The Comprehensive Teaching of Buddhadasa Bhikkhu.
For over 60 years Ajahn Buddhadasa lived and taught the dhamma close to the elements in Thailand. Considered to be one of the most important figures in modern Buddhism, the H.H. The Dalai Lama referred to him as his “senior spiritual brother”. Stephen Batchelor writes that he was a “radical and controversial figure”, an ”extraordinary Buddhist teacher, whose message may be even more relevant today.” Guy Armstrong spent a year as a monk in his monastery, and he was one of Jack Kornfield’s teachers as well.
Join us as we explore the wisdom of this innovative and influential Bhikkhu.
